1. During a 5 hour period the soloist will play an equivalent of 3 x 45 minute sets, with either 2 hours of pre-recorded playlist music, or early setup if preferred. For example, you might have the soloist setup by say 6pm ready to start at 8pm and play through until 11pm. You might also want playlist/background music from 6pm, and that’s fine as well. Of course, within reason we are totally flexible on how you space out our time which means we can fit in to any schedule.

2. The 5 hour period begins from when the soloist needs to be fully set up and ready to go. Be aware that setting up early or finishing later than the 5 hour mark is considered extra time. Finishing significantly after midnight (i.e. beyond 12:15am) will attract a late-night premium as it’s past our normal trading hours. Please advise if this is the case so we can quote accordingly.

3. We’ll provide all background music during our breaks. This includes during the main dance bracket. When the dance bracket breaks occur, we often find that people tend to ‘break’ with us for their dessert or coffee. As such, we put on background music during that time also. If you would like some more serious dance hits that are favourites to you, simply let us know, or feel free to even bring your own Apple/Spotify playlist etc to have your favourites played.

4. If you are providing music for us to cue (such as first dance, break music), please either email it to us AT LEAST a week in advance or bring it on a fully charged device, iPod, iPhone or iPad (or other MP3 player with a normal headphone jack output), ensuring you disable the passcode and put it into Airplane mode to avoid unwanted interruptions or interference when playing your music. We do not take a CD player to gigs, so please do not bring your music on CD or DVD. We also don’t recommend USB as a format.

5. The soloist will require a meal, but you don’t have to allocate wedding breakfasts / party dinners. Your musician will be happy with any kind of hot meal which most venues are happy to provide. This needs to be provided in addition to the amounts that we quote you at your expense. We will let you know if there are any dietary requirements prior to the day.

6. Travel is calculated using the shortest route on Google maps. This money is passed onto the musician to cover their time and expenses, whilst providing adequate incentive to play out of town. As long as we are aware of the venue upfront, we will include travel costs (if any) in the quote we provide you. We also need you to make sure there’s adequate, free parking near the venue for our musician to unload/load, or to meet parking costs should this not be the case.

7. You’re welcome to use our microphone for speeches if required, but please do let us know before the event so we can come prepared. Unless specifically agreed in advance, we do not allow guests to sing or use our equipment as we need to be in control of our performance area for the safety of our equipment, and to ensure that your entertainment is at its best.

8. It happens quite often with us that the party is up and dancing so much that no one wants to go home. In that case, when you would like to soloist to play longer, it is negotiated between you and them directly on the night using cash only.

9. Choosing the music for your event is quite often best left to us. As seasoned entertainers we are great at playing a song for that particular moment, ensuring that people are dancing as much as possible. We’ll ask you for 10 songs you love and any songs, not so much, so we can get a ‘snap-shot’ of your taste, so we can incorporate that as much as possible when getting the party kicking. If you send us your top 100 songs of all time, sadly we won’t be able to play all of them. If any requests are made by couples or guests that don’t fit the mood of the party, don’t worry, we’ll keep the quality control up to ensure everyone has the best possible time.

10. Once the deposit has been paid as per the quote, it is non-refundable in the event that your circumstances should change. Most people are planning their events well in advance and when we commit to an event which is cancelled, there is little to no opportunity for rebooking the night somewhere else. If an event is required to be cancelled within 60 days of the event date, a further 25% cancellation fee will be applicable. If an event is required to be cancelled within 30 days of the event date, there will be no rebooking opportunity, and the full and entire balance will be immediately payable to confirm cancellation. The only exception to this would be if UK Government restrictions regarding Coronavirus meant that the date needed to be changed, which we would arrange with you at no extra cost.

11. The final balance owing must be cleared into our bank account before the event date. We will email you to a reminder beforehand, but please do not delay in transferring the final balance. If we don’t have it in our account by the morning of your event, we cannot attend and perform for you.

12. The best way to decribe our business is a close-knit circle of musicians. We’re a network of soloists who have played hundreds of successful events. The soloist who attends your event will be one of us – a hand-picked, elite entertainer. If any request is made for a specific soloist we will endeavour to fill your request but we cannot make a guarantee. Rest assured that even if one of us falls ill or has an emergency, another will be there to step up – and not just a substitute but an amazing soloist in their own right – this is the great advantage of being a team, we always have back up and you’ll never be cancelled on!

13. We will work with you leading up to your big day to ensure the same agreed schedule. Should the schedule be deviated from on the night (as sometime may happen), we will do our best to go with the flow and be flexible. Sometimes schedules can go really off the rails though, and if it happens that by the time the band is able to start performing again after your speeches etc. there isn’t enough time to complete our remaining sets before the end of the 5 hour period, we cannot continue past 5 hours, unless arranged prior or paid for in cash on the night.
