1. Performance time and structure

Over a 5-hour booking, the soloist will perform the equivalent of 3 x 45-minute live sets. The remaining time can be used for background playlist music and or early setup. For example, the soloist could be fully set up by 6pm, with a background playlist until starting at 8pm, and finishing at 11pm. We’re flexible with how the time is spaced, so we can work comfortably around your schedule.

  2. Booking window and late finishes

The 5-hour period starts from the time the soloist needs to be fully set up and ready to perform. Setting up earlier or finishing later than this window is considered additional time. Finishing significantly after midnight, beyond around 12.15am, will incur a late-night premium as this falls outside our standard trading hours. Please let us know in advance if this may apply so we can quote accurately.

  3. Background music and playlists

We provide all suitable music during breaks, including during the main dance section. If you’d like specific party favourites included, just let us know. You’re also welcome to provide your own Apple/Spotify playlist if you have must-play tracks, we would just request the playlist link well in advance of the event.

  4. Supplying your own music

If you’d like us to cue specific songs, such as a first dance or party playlist, please email these choices to us at least one week in advance. We won’t be able to guarantee the use of a bluetooth connection ior plugging in a device, so please give us advance notice.

  5. Meals for artists

The artist/s will require a meal, although this does not need to be a formal wedding breakfast or plated dinner. A hot meal is perfectly suitable and most venues are happy to provide this. Meals are provided at your expense and are not included in the quoted fee. Any dietary requirements will be confirmed with you ahead of the event.

  6. Travel and parking

Travel is calculated using the shortest route on Google Maps. Travel costs are passed directly to the musician to cover time and expenses and to make out-of-town bookings viable. As long as we know the venue in advance, any travel costs will be included in your quote. Please also ensure there is suitable free parking close to the venue for loading and unloading, or that parking costs are covered if this isn’t available.

  7. Microphone use and equipment access

You’re welcome to use our microphone for speeches if needed. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly. Unless agreed beforehand, guests are not permitted to sing or use our equipment. This allows us to maintain control of the performance area, protect our equipment and ensure the entertainment runs smoothly.

  8. Playing beyond the agreed time

Occasionally the dance floor is so lively that no one wants the night to end. If you’d like the soloist to play beyond the agreed time, this can be arranged directly with them on the night, subject to availability, and is payable in cash only.

  9. Music selection and requests

Music selection is often best left with us. As experienced entertainers, we’re skilled at choosing the right song for the right moment to keep the energy up and the dance floor full. We’ll ask you for around 10 songs you love, along with any you’d prefer to avoid, to get a feel for your taste. This helps us tailor the set to you while still reading the room. While we love enthusiasm, sending a list of 100 songs won’t mean we can play them all. If a request doesn’t suit the mood, we’ll manage it discreetly to keep the party flowing. Our goal is simple. A packed dance floor, great moments, and a night that feels effortless for you and unforgettable for your guests.

  10. Deposits and cancellations

Once the deposit is paid, it is non-refundable should your circumstances change. As bookings are often made well in advance, cancellations usually leave little opportunity for rebooking. If an event is cancelled within 60 days of the event date, an additional 25% cancellation fee applies. If cancelled within 30 days, the full remaining balance becomes payable. The only exception is if UK Government restrictions require the date to change, in which case we will work with you to reschedule at no extra cost.

  11. Final payment

The final balance must be paid into our bank account prior to the event date. We’ll send a reminder in advance, but please ensure payment is not delayed. If the balance has not cleared by the morning of the event, we are unable to attend or perform.

  12. Our musicians and cover

We operate as a close-knit collective of professional musicians. Our soloists have played hundreds of successful events, and whoever performs at your booking will be one of our hand-picked, experienced entertainers. If you request a specific soloist, we’ll do our best to accommodate, although this cannot be guaranteed. If someone is unexpectedly unavailable due to illness or emergency, another top-tier soloist will step in. This team approach means you’re never left without entertainment. We take a lot of pride in what we do, and we care deeply about getting it right. Your event isn’t just another booking to us.

  13. Schedules and flexibility on the day

We’ll work closely with you in the lead-up to the event to agree on a clear schedule. If things shift slightly on the night, which can happen, we’ll always try to be flexible and go with the flow. However, if delays mean there is no longer enough time to complete the remaining sets within the 5-hour booking window, we cannot extend beyond this unless it has been arranged in advance or agreed and paid for in cash on the night.

  14. Outdoor events and weather

For outdoor performances, suitable weather protection is essential. This includes a solid, waterproof marquee or cover that fully protects the performance area, equipment and power supply from rain, wind and direct sunlight. If weather conditions are unsafe or risk damage to equipment, we may need to pause, relocate or delay the performance until conditions improve. Where possible, we strongly recommend having a wet-weather backup plan agreed with your venue in advance.

  15. Sound limits and venue restrictions

Some venues operate sound limiters or impose strict volume restrictions. While we always perform within venue guidelines, these limits can affect overall volume and energy, particularly during dance sets. We can’t be held responsible for reduced sound levels caused by venue restrictions or sound limiter enforcement. If your venue has known sound limits, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly and deliver the best possible experience within those constraints. Above all, our aim is to keep things smooth, stress-free and enjoyable, so you can focus on having a great night while we take care of the music.
